CAB XC-Series

When there is a need to print a logo or graphic in a different color on a label, the optimal choice is the CAB XC4 or XC6 model. As with other CAB devices, the XC series prioritizes reliable printing and ease of use. It is ideal for large label rolls with a diameter of 300 mm. The resolution is 300 dpi, the printing speed is 125 mm/s, and the printing width is 105.6 mm for the XC4 and 162.6 mm for the XC6.

The ribbon-saving function means that since the pictograms are usually positioned at the top or in non-printed areas of the labels, the printer lifts the head, thereby saving unused ribbon. The printer operates with two printheads and two ribbon rolls, typically in black and red colors.

DUAL-COLOR – this means that the consecutive thermal transfer units allow the XC4 and XC6 to print graphics and text in different colors on the same document. This is particularly important for compliance with labeling requirements for chemical products, such as printing safety labels. They operate with two printheads and two ribbon cores, with the printheads being 4 inches and 6 inches wide for the respective models. The printing speed for both models is 125 mm/s, and the resolution is 300 dpi.

Sturdy construction

The devices are housed in cast aluminum, making them suitable for industrial use. The components are mounted on this robust frame. The operating temperature ranges from +5 to -40 °C, and the air humidity can be between 10% and 85%. The dimensions of the CAB XC4 are 248mm x 395mm x 554mm, while the CAB XC6 measures 358mm x 395mm x 554mm. Their weights are 22 kg and 24 kg, respectively.

Easy connection of peripheral units

External devices, such as cutters or perforators, can be easily connected using two fastening pins, which can be attached and fixed with a screw in seconds. Data can be quickly and easily input through the USB keyboard port, USB 2.0, and Ethernet interface, while the WLAN card is an optional choice.

The layout of labels can be created using the cablabel S3 Lite and Viewer software or through direct programming in the text editor on the computer.
